Rebusio is operated by SOFT CLOJURES SRL, CUI 41445847, registered at Strada Unirii, Nr. 8, Et. 7, Ap. 39, Botoșani, Județ Botoșani, România. This policy explains what data we process when you play, why, and what your rights are.

What we process

The game works without an account. We process only:

  • Your progress (today's guesses, streak, statistics) lives in your browser (localStorage) and never reaches us.
  • Anonymous game events (view, start, guess, solve, share) with the puzzle number, number of attempts, device class (phone or desktop), language, the channel that first brought you to the site (for example Facebook or a link from a friend) and how many days have passed since. The channel is kept in your browser, not in cookies. No IP address, no user identifier.
  • Traffic statistics through Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not track visitors across sites.
  • Your email address, only if you give it to us to be told when a new game launches. We use it for that alone and delete it on request.

Ads and cookies

After you finish the daily puzzle we show a single ad, served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies for personalised ads only if you agree in the consent dialog shown on your first visit. If you decline, you see non-personalised ads or none, and the game works the same.

You can change your choice at any time from the "Ad settings" link in the footer. How Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Legal basis and retention

Anonymous events and traffic statistics rest on our legitimate interest in understanding how the game is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your email and advertising cookies rest on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

Anonymous events are kept in aggregate indefinitely; your email until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro). For any request write to contact@rebusio.com.

Services we use

The site runs on Cloudflare (hosting, database, analytics). Ads come from Google. Each processes data under its own policies, as a processor or an independent controller.
